Clearing House Consignment Interiors accepts and sells an incredible variety. It is easier to state what we do not accept than it is to say what we do. We say “no” to the following: platinum rim china, stuffed animals, electric gadgets, hexagonal tables, cornices, appliances, exercise or sports equipment, futons, mattresses and box springs, rocking chairs, recliners, Victorian sofas and parlor sets, framed posters, anything chipped or cracked or soiled, carpet (we take only oriental rugs), Dhurrie rugs, tired linens, computer desks, luggage, unframed art, art without wire hangars, fabric under eight yards, and garage sale leftovers.

If you put your nice things in a garage sale, you will get garage sale prices. Our consignors tell us Craig’s List is equally frustrating. We can do better for you than you can do for yourself, even with the fifty/fifty split. If we couldn’t, why would hundreds of people bring us their nice things season after season? We have lasted more than two decades because we make both our consignors and our customers very happy.

No appointment is necessary to bring your things. Call ahead if you think you will need help.

We do need to pre-approve sofas, armoires, and dining tables. Even though we have an enormous space, we still are selective. We reserve the right to take only what we believe we can sell.

Our inventory changes daily, sometimes hourly. Our furnishings are priced to sell. Business is brisk by design. Our shop is always filled with treasures. Here’s a sampling of things we take:
